The fourth course on underground coal gasification organised and presented by the UCG Association in conjunction with Imperial College London.
Course description
The one week course will cover all aspects of UCG including site selection criteria, site appraisal, coal geology and hydrogeology, gasification, CCS, environmental impact assessments, economics. It will introduce the basic principles of underground coal gasification, and what is required of the coal and overburden to establish a satisfactory commercial process.
The course will be delivered by staff of Imperial College London, UCGA Personnel and external speakers.
There is a limit of 25 places which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. UCGA Members will have preference.
